We pride ourselves on the latter, here at Dancing Pen & Press. We can recreate a wedding suite we have done in the past, combine several suites together, or we can start from scratch & create your dream wedding invitations. We can’t stress this enough – we are a custom shop! If you do not like the color of the ink, the envelopes, the font, etc we can change it! Some things that make us unique: we offer free unlimited proof revisions, we strive to have some of the deepest letterpress in the industry, we can be as custom as you would like (we do this because for some clients the complete custom route is too much). A soft palette, simple flowing fonts, a pair of pine trees pressed at the top of the invite, a custom printed liner of the venue (optional, we can of course change this to suit your needs), all tied together with a simple burlap”y” ribbon. We rounded the corners to add a touch more softness to the suite. Oh, & take a peek at those envelopes – they have a wood grain (faux bois – we love fancy words) embossed into them! This suite melded together the 2 distinct aesthetics of the clients – the bride wanted classic & elegant, while the groom wanted the invites to portray a woodsy feel. Most of our invitations are printed on Crane Lettra paper. This is the highest quality paper. It is 100% cotton & takes a deep impression. The stock paper is pearl white (a light ivory) in the 110# weight. This is thicker than your typical card stock, & has a soft feel. Some clients want to add a little upgrade & get the 220# paper. This is THICK. Think bar coaster thick. We suggest only doing this on the main invite. To get a rough estimate on pricing, scroll through the photos, & the last one has a pricing grid.
